Most achievements in Rat Game are straightforward and can be unlocked by playing as either the Rat or the Chef. However, a few require completing specific tasks or finding hidden interactions around the map.
Here’s how to unlock every achievement, including the Sudoku puzzle, Dark Magic, and how to open the Cheese Vault.
Self-Explanatory Achievements
You can unlock most of these achievements simply by winning matches or interacting with items during a game.
- Smarter than a Robot: Win a game as a Rat while playing against the Robochef.
- Rats Unite: Win a game as a Rat.
- No Need for an Exterminator: Win a game as the Chef.
- Big Iron on His Hips: Pick up and hold the gun while playing as a Rat.
- Cold-Blooded: Kill a Rat using the gun.
- Escape Artist: Free the Rats from their cage.
Boredom – Complete the Sudoku
The Sudoku puzzle is located inside the Rat cage. Complete the entire puzzle to unlock this achievement.
There is one important thing to know: everyone in the current lobby receives the achievement once the puzzle is completed.
You cannot complete this one alone because getting caught by the Chef automatically ends the game in the Chef’s favour. You’ll need other players in the lobby to help you.
Dark Magic
To unlock Dark Magic, you need to complete two tasks:
- First, complete the task that involves putting the haunted tape into the TV.
- Once that’s done, grab a lighter and use it to light the small candles on the table in front of the TV. Press Q to use the lighter.
Only the player who lights the candles receives the achievement.
After activating this spot, it can also be used as a seemingly permanent revive point for the Rats.
Is It Real? – Cheese Vault
To access the Cheese Vault, you need to find a hidden interaction in the office.
- Head to the office and look at the bookshelf.
- You should see a light blue book on the bookshelf beside the computer.
- Interact with this book by pressing E. Make sure you’re using the bookshelf in the office, not either of the two bookshelves near the entrance.
- Once you interact with this book, the leftmost bookcase in the entrance area will move.
- You can now enter the hidden Cheese Vault.
